Barbecue Tips - Vegetables


MARINATED VEGETABLE SKEWERS

Marinade for vegetables:

1 dl oil
½ dl soy sauce
½ dl vinegar
Dried or fresh herbs, crushed
1 tbsp sugar or honey
1 - 2 cloves garlic, crushed

Vegetable skewers

1 squash
2 corn
1 bell pepper
Mushrooms
Pineapple
Shallots

Mix the ingredients for the marinade. Pre-cook the shallots for a few minutes in a microwave oven or boiling water. Cut the vegetables into cubes and put them in the marinade for a little while before barbecuing. Make colourful skewers by skewering different pieces of vegetables alternately. Place the skewers on the barbecue over low heat. Add marinade on the skewers during barbecuing. You can use different vegetables to create your own favourite skewers.


DELICIOUS VEGETABLE BUNDLES

1 bag (400 g) Wok vegetables
Feta cheese cubes
2 tbsp sweet thai chili sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
½ ts ginger
Kitchen foil

Drain the liquid out of the feta cheese. Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cut 4 sheets of foil, put an even amount of the mixture on each sheet and wrap bundles of the sheets. Cook the bundles on the barbecue for 15 min. Make 2 - 4 bundles for each person.
